With this work, I want to represent the impact that video games have on climate change, as it’s significant but often overlooked. To reflect this, I used a television as the central element, from which plants are growing—symbolizing nature’s attempt to compensate for the damage caused by this medium. I chose to show the video game The Last of Us on the screen, as it takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where vegetation has taken over the cities. This choice is not only aesthetic but also symbolic: it makes me think of a possible future—without zombies, of course—where nature reclaims its space in abandoned urban environments. Personally, that kind of world, where greenery dominates the landscape, feels like an ideal place to exist. -Lucia Siles
