With this video collage I want to evoke a feeling of grief for our nature, expressed through the perspective of melting glaciers.
The nostalgic music creates an almost ancient feeling of the deep history of the life of these glaciers. The footage consists of a mixture of old archival footage and 3D models of glaciers.
This serves as a kind of warning speculating on what our future would look like if we destroy our nature.
Maybe in the future we will depend on old recordings of nature to feel connected to it?
