The work is all about aggression. The anger and urge to confront the people with their own behavior and way of living, as well as overconsumption . I used barbie’s in my installation, because they really represent this waste mass production, but they look cute so people don’t care. The barbie represent the humans, they are standing in trash, and with the carton boxes they are blind(or choose to be) to what is happening. The installation, in combination I try to create the absurdness of the situation. The bouncing object in the middle can be seen as a world or as a wrecking ball, it builds up the tension for a possibility to collapse soon. With this I hope to open some eyes for people about how destructive they are.
